LEHMAN David B. Lehman, 61, of Worthington, Ohio, Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Born September 20, 1948 at Columbus, Ohio. David was a well known and respected attorney in the fields of domestic relations and probate law. He also specialized as a mediator. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1966; Kent State University in 1970; and Capital Law School in 1974. David was predeceased by his parents Vesper G. "Steve" and Thealka Belle Lehman, and his brother Stephen G. Lehman. He is survived by his beloved significant other, Pamela L. Durrett of Powell, Ohio; dear friend and former wife, Paula Tusoch (Michael) of Gates Mills, Ohio; and the joy of his life, sons, D. Nick Lehman of Vienna, Virginia and Kevin B. Lehman (Kimberly) of Bay Village, Ohio. He was a CLE speaker/presenter at many lawyer related events and a member of many organizations including Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the Columbus Bar Association, the Columbus Museum of Art, the Ohio Lawyer's Assistance Committee of the Ohio State Bar Association, AA, and Trial Lawyers of America and Franklin County. David had a passion for golf and was a former member at York, Worthington Hills, Delaware, Dornoch and Northstar golf and country clubs. He additionally was an Eagle Scout and member of the Order of the Arrow of the Boy Scouts of America. From 1970 to 1974 he worked in hydrology and water studies for the United States Geological Survey. As a youngster he was a tour guide at Olentangy Caverns and later a camp counselor for Recreation Unlimited. David was a lung transplant recipient due to Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis since April 2008 and lived a good and productive life until he was additionally afflicted by unrelated cancer. He extends his unwavering thanks and gratitude to the lung transplant team of the Cleveland Clinic for enabling this wonderful one year plus. David loved to travel, had many adventures and led an interesting, rewarding life-fulfilling, yet never settling. Preferred charities are the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis, Life Line of Ohio Organ Donors, and Kobacker House, HomeReach Hospice.
