A.John Olmstead, 57, went home to be with the Lord December 18, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday January 12, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach. He was born June 12, 1955 in Worthington, Ohio and has lived in Daytona Beach since 1980. He worked at Belk Lindsey in Daytona Beach and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Marian Olmstead and recently by his beloved cat Blue. He is survived by his brother Donald and his wife Zona Olmstead of Lynchburg, VA; and sister Leslie and her husband Chris Mertens of Patterson, NY; his uncle Donald; aunt Patricia; and cousin Donald Olmstead, all of Ormond Beach; and nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Rosie Albert.
