Nancy L. Maben, of Westerville, Ohio, passed November 14, 2024 at the age of 86. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Nancy graduated from Worthington High School in 1956. In April 1959, Nancy married her devoted husband, Jim, and together they shared an extraordinary 65 years of marriage. Through Jims service in the Air Force, Nancy and Jim had the opportunity to live in Texas, North Dakota, and Canada before finally settling permanently in Westerville with their family. Nancy continued traveling with Jim through her antique business, making regular trips throughout the Midwest for shows. Nancy loved collecting and reselling antiques but was particularly known for her vast knowledge and expertise in Depression Glassware. Whether at garage sales, flea markets, or estate sales, Nancy had a remarkable talent for discovering hidden treasures and finding a good deal. Nancys greatest joy, however, came from her family. Holiday traditions, like driving through the Fantasy of Lights with her grandchildren, and countless family dinners were cherished moments filled with laughter and love. On nice days Nancy would spend nice days at Innis Woods people-watching and rainy or snowy days watching her favorite television programs, Judge Judy and The Price is Right to name a few. She attended Orange Friends Church where her family members also attended, later enjoying a brunch after services with her husband. She was arguably a better bowler than Jim and played many hands of double pinochle with friends. She also enjoyed puzzles and gin rummy. Nancy will be most missed by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Russ) Jones; son, James Jamie Jr. (Mary) Maben; sister, Patty King; brother, Paul (Elyse) Chambers; grandchildren Asia (Maxx) Kimbler, Cole (Crista) Tonti, Midori, Bailey and Sela Maben; Great-Grandchildren Callum and Caison Tonti and Hornet and Rainn Kimbler and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Maben; Parents, Frank and Dorothy (nee Shrader) Chambers; Sister, Alice Umbstaetter and her husband Sid; Brothers, Richard and Robert Chambers; Sister, Mary Elizabeth; Brothers-in-Law, Jim King, and Donald, David, John, Earnest, Robert, Edwin and Leon Maben; and Sisters-in-Law, Nancy Maben, Helen Johnson, and Evelyn Roberts.
