: It is with sadness that I am reporting the Class of '64 has lost another classmate. Kirk McClanahan passed away on January 31, 2022 Kirk posted on FB in late November that he had been diagnosed with throat cancer. There is no formal obituary, but Kirk's sister Barb has shared the following with me. "He died several days before his 76th birthday. He had lived in Gunnison, Colorado for over 30 years. He is survived by his sister Barbara Diener and brother Jim. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He loved to go hiking in the beautiful state of Colorado with his dogs."
