: Cristopher McKay Henkaline, age 49, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family after a ten year battle with addiction to heroin. He was born on May 20, 1968 in Euclid, Ohio. Cris is survived by his parents, Sally and Mike Henkaline; children, Skylar and Cody Henkaline; granddaughter, Ava; brother, Todd (Laura) Henkaline; niece, Elizabeth; nephew, Maxwell; and fiancé, Ginger. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Gayle Sarver and John & Marian Henkaline. Cris graduated in 1987 from Worthington High School. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War. Cris also worked for many years as a meat manager at Giant Eagle. He was an avid Buckeye football fan. Cris never met a stranger, had an infectious laugh, was warm, giving and just all around well liked. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed.
