- Peter Alfred Leatherman, 26, of Marysville, formerly of Worthington, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Nationwide Children's Hospital following a life-long battle with cystic fibrosis. Pete received a dual lung transplant in 2012 and as a result of complications with the transplant, he lost his life. A 2006 graduate and valedictorian of Worthington Kilbourne High School, he received a bachelor's degree in 2011 from The Ohio State University and was pursuing a master's degree in chemical engineering at The University of Dayton.
