: Ryan David Penrod, 30, of Powell, passed away March 29, 2018, at the Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born Jan. 12, 1988 in Columbus, the son of David Owen and Sally Meinert Penrod. Ryan was a graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School, Class of 2007. He was a member of Linworth United Methodist Church where he loved to participate in church activities and their garage sales. He loved his nephews and was so patient and caring with them. He always had a smile on his face and was always so animated and funny. He was also blessed with a kind and loving heart. We would also like to give a special salute to Mr. Walt Reed, Ryan's favorite teacher from Worthington Kilbourne. Ryan is survived by his parents, David and Sally; his sister, Jennifer; and brother, Andrew; aunts, Marcia (Richard) Sampson, Dianne (Jeff) Schulz, and Lisa (Dennis) Pavley; uncles, Warren (Barb) Penrod, David (Patti) Meinert, and James Meinert; paternal grandmother, Rowena Penrod; maternal, step-grandmother, Elizabeth Meinert; several cousins; and beloved dog and feline friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Larry Dale Penrod; maternal grandfather, Donn Meinert; maternal grandmother, Joan Oliver; and maternal step-grandfather, Glenn Oliver.
