Gerald Ross Wolfe, 90, died April 22, 2022. Also known as both "Ross" and "Jerry", he was born and raised in Plain City, OH. Attending all 12 grades in the same building, he graduated with the 1949 class of New California (Jerome Local) High School. He began attending Ohio Northern University that summer. His college education was interrupted when he was drafted into the Army for the Korean War just two days before his twentieth birthday. Upon his military release he returned to Ohio Northern and finished his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 1954. He received his Master of Education Degree from The Ohio State University and had a long career as teacher and principal primarily with Worthington City Schools. Jerry and his first wife Phyllis Pargeon had three daughters before her death in 1966. In 1968 he married Nancy Rogers Dorsey, a widow who also had three daughters, making him a father of six girls!. He was an avid gardener, loved traveling and camping, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved singing with the church choir and the Worthington Chorus. He taught Sunday School and aquatics for seniors, and was involved in many volunteer activities. His 90 years were a blessing to many. Preceded in death by wife Phyllis Pargeon Wolfe (d. 1966) and wife Nancy Rogers Wolfe (d. 2021); granddaughters Ara Katherine and Hannah Caroline Hart. Survived by daughters Beth Wolfe, Lynn Wolfe VanVleet (Daniel), Bonnie Dorsey Reilly (Joseph), Tricia Wolfe Brotherton, Susan Dorsey Sundberg (Michael), Jill Dorsey Hart; grandchildren Desiree, Phillip, Carrie (Michael), Heather, Meaghan (Jenny), Sarah (Jordan), Ian, Thomas, Gabriel (Victoria), John, Grace; great-grandchildren Logan, Rebecca, Addison, Grayson, Claire, Beckham.
