WARREN, ME — Julie Ellen (Hoyt) Sheehan passed away peacefully, May 21, 2022, at her home with her husband by her side after declining health due to cancer. Julie was born Feb. 21, 1957, in Ann Arbor, Mich., to Jean and Kenneth Hoyt. Shortly after her birth, her father accepted a job in Danvers, Mass., until the end of her sophomore year in high school. Her father then accepted a job in Columbus, Ohio, and Julie finished high school and graduated from Worthington High School in 1975. In her life, Julie worked for various businesses in administrative and technical roles and with her previous husband, Julie gave birth to their only son, Benjamin Edward Wright, Aug. 8, 1983. In March of 1993, Julie then married Robert (Bob) Sheehan, an executive with Central Benefits, a Blue Cross & Blue Shield company, and later as the CIO of Technology at the Ohio Department Of Liquor Control where he subsequently retired. Julie and Bob moved to Thomaston in 2006/2007 to assist in the care of Julies aging parents. Julie was predeceased by her parents and sister. She is survived by her husband, her son. Benjamin, four step-children and seven grandchildren. Julie experienced an exciting, full and wonderful life, and always expressed wonderment and fulfillment of touching and being touched by all the glorious people, like you, she met in her lifetime. She is missed on this earth and welcomed in heaven, and for me, I was blessed and honored to be Julie’s husband of 30 years.
