Feb. 24, 1944 - July 22, 2022 Dan passed away peacefully on July 22, 2022, with his wife Debbie by his side, from complications of Parkinson's Disease and dementia. Dan was born on February 24, 1944 in Columbus, Ohio. He was a graduate of Worthington High School and Ohio State University in Columbus. He moved to Southern California in the early 1970s after coming out for a Rose Bowl game one year. He loved the weather and knew that this is where he wanted to live. Dan was a stock and bond broker, working for various firms in Los Angeles and Orange County. There was nothing he liked more than working with numbers and stats. He loved his Cincinnati Reds, talking about sports, traveling, running, hiking, trivia, and going to celebrity shows, where he would talk to every celebrity there as if they were an old friend. Dan and Debbie were married on September 15, 1990 in Lake Tahoe before settling in Long Beach. Debbie, being a San Pedro girl, told Dan she wanted to live in San Pedro. Not long after, they moved to nearby Rancho Palos Verdes and have lived there ever since. Dan is survived by his wife, Debbie; brother, Jim (Nancy); nephew, Brian (Kim); niece, Erin (Paul) Scannell; nephew, Jason (Terra); niece, Megan (John) Colucci and their children: Kaitlyn, Kylie, Brooke and Paige Scanlon; Colleen, Lily and Patrick Scannell; and Cristiano, Matteo and Gianna Colucci.
