Sharon W. Chadwell (nee White), 72, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born on August 1, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Lloyd and Catherine White. Sharon was a beloved retired kindergarten teacher for Worthington Schools, where she made a lasting impact on countless young lives. Sharon was known for her warmth, kindness, and loving nature. She had a remarkable ability to connect with others and will forever be remembered for the impact she had on those around her. Her dedication to education and her genuine care for her students made her an exceptional teacher. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Randy Chadwell, and their children, Katie (Ryan) Portz, Brian (Emily) Chadwell, and Amy (Doug) Tippit. She is also survived by her sister, Lynne (Dave) Henderson, and her brother, Robin (Sue) White. Sharon was a cherished grandmother to Mason, Holden, and June Portz, Isaiah and Ashton Chadwell, and Annelise Tippit (arriving soon). She is also survived by many in laws, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who held a special place in her heart. Sharon's educational journey included earning a Bachelor of Education at Bowling Green University and a Master of Education at Ohio State University. In her personal life, Sharon found solace and community at Worthington United Methodist Church, where she worshipped. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life.
