: Laurence "Larry" Welsh, 63, of Columbus, passed away on October 26, 2023, at the Cleveland Clinic after a lengthy illness. He was born on March 16, 1960, in Columbus, to the late Ted and Yvonne (Queen) Welsh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Rita Welsh. Larry graduated from Thomas Worthington High School in 1978 and spent the majority of his professional career for Liebert Corporation working as a machinist and a welder. In his free time Larry was an avid Ohio State fan. He was also very crafty and enjoyed building miniature houses to scale, sewing Buckeye accessories, and building playgrounds for his grandchildren. Larry will be greatly missed by his children, Brandon (Lindsay) Welsh and Kyle (Vanessa) Welsh; grandchildren, Emilia and Cayden Welsh; his special fur legged friend, Woody; and numerous extended family and close family friends.
