: Larry Michael Longshore, age 72 of Galena, Ohio peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family following a struggle with a chronic illness. Larry was born on March 27, 1951, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harold V. Longshore and Leota (Mullins) Longshore. He graduated from Worthington high school and spent his working years driving semitrucks for United McGill, Value City, and Mobile Mini. On August 18, 2000, Larry married Joan Davis at the Mount Vernon City Park. Together they shared 24 wonderful years with one another. Larry was an avid hunter and had an extensive collection of Case knives and guns. He enjoyed woodworking as well as traveling. Larry looked forward to visiting places that he had never been. Those left to cherish Larry’s memory include his loving wife, Joan Longshore, his son Gary (Crystal) Longshore; stepsons Toby (Monica) Davis, Ben (Trish) Davis; grandchildren Christina, Michael, Nicholas, Lucas, Kate, Kim, John, Sam, Emmie and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his brother Richard Longshore; sisters Donna Gallick and Linda (Ray) Downing; brother-in-law Andrew Gallick, as well as his granddaughter Catherine.
