Barbara Ruth Hall, age 65, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. She was born on November 1, 1958 in Blue Island, Illinois. Bobbie was the daughter of John Theodore Warner and Diane Wilma Warner. She was named Barbara Ruth after Diane's sister. Her beloved father passed in 1969 when she was 10 years old. Her mother married Sam Shingledecker in 1978. Bobbie graduated from Worthington High School in 1977. She was a cheerleader, valedictorian, on the homecoming court, and friend to all. She earned a full Batelle Scholarship to attend Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in nursing. She was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, following in her mother's footsteps. Bobbie went on to retire from a 25 year career as a surgical nurse at Ohio State Medical Center. She loved spending time with her sons and their families, especially her five grandchildren. They were the love and light of her life. She is survived by her loving mother, Diane Shingledecker, her twin brother John, her younger brother Mark as well as her two sons, Clayton (Virginia) and Nathan (Megan) and her five grandchildren (James, Henry, Gigi, Harper and Maeve). She will be greatly missed by her step-siblings Dan, Jodi, John and Jill as well as the father of her children, Robert Hall. She was preceded in death by her father Jack Warner and her step- father Sam Shingledecker.
