Patricia Lea (Jeffers) Ruff, 81, passed from this earth into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Pickaway Manor surrounded by family. Pat was born on October 28, 1942, to Wallace and Alpha Mae Jeffers. She graduated from Worthington High School. She began working at Nationwide Insurance in Columbus where she met Luther Ruff, whom she would marry on September 4, 1965. Pat was involved in many aspects of church life at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Lockbourne and then Trinity Lutheran Church in Circleville, serving on various committees as well as teaching Sunday School. She had a very successful Home Interiors business, worked alongside Luther on the farm in the 1980's as well as Sears Appliance and Catalog Store and then the Nationwide Insurance Agency they started in Circleville in 1991. They enjoyed traveling to historical locations and events to see their grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and grandmother. Pat is survived by her loving husband of nearly 59 years, Luther Ruff; sons Todd (Angie) and Mark (Marcia); grandchildren Sarah, Wesley, Matthew, Mitchell and Mae; twin-sister Molly Grubb of Florida; brother Larry Jeffers of Fishers, Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Pat was predeceased by her parents; sister Grace Butterfield; brothers Earl, Fred Lee and John Jeffers.
