Tamara Lew Watkins, beloved mother, grandmother (Tookie) and community business leader passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024. in Columbus, Ohio. She was 65 years old. Tamara was born on November 17, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio. She grew up in the close-knit community of Worthington, attending Worthington High School, where she excelled academically and participated in various organizations. Tamara continued her education in her beloved Winter Park, Florida, pursuing a degree in English/Communications at Rollins College. Upon graduation from Rollins, Tamara returned to Columbus, dedicating her career to her family business, The Watkins Printing Company, currently a fourth-generation organization. Not only did Tamara continue to grow the successful company, but her professional connections led her to serving on the Board of Directors for Chi Omega Fraternity, of which she was a member. Any room or gathering immediately lit up when Tammy entered. She had a wonderful sense of humor, an infectious giggle, and a bright, loving smile. Tam was a jokester, and loved nothing more than pulling a funny prank on unsuspecting others. She adored traveling, with her family home in Jamaica being at the top of her favorite destinations. Tammy also had a passion for any 4-legged creature, as her home was filled both inside and out, with lots of furry friends. Tamara is survived by her children, Emily Clary Lust, Brock Clary and son-in-law, Jonathan Lust, the lights of her life - her triplet grandchildren – Jonathan (J J), Olivia, Scarlette Lust, brothers David Watkins, Ric Watkins, sister-in-laws Carole and Robin Watkins, nieces Amy Gesell, Keeley Watkins, Autumn Watkins and Jill Watkins and very best friend Marejane Muse.
