: Mary Wible passed peacefully on August 3, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her children, Adam, Erin, and Brian (Jill) Wible, her parents Charles and Lillian Coogan, siblings Lillian Dexter, Chuck Coogan, Patty Loeffler, and Joe Coogan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born Mary Ellen Coogan on June 13, 1965, Mary attended Perry Middle School where she set track records for her sprinting. She was a graduate of Thomas Worthington High School and The Ohio State University. During her time at OSU, she was a member of the OSU Water Ski Club. Her love for the water translated into many years of houseboat and lakeside living. Even through the toughest days of her cancer battle, she never lost her spunk and was full of wit and sarcasm until her last days. Always a defender of the underdog, she fought for others like she fought cancer, without fear or hesitation. The family would like to thank the hospice nursing staff, especially Amanda, for their kind and compassionate support. Special thanks to her sister Patty who spent the last two months away from her family in Texas as she acted as Mary's main caregiver.
