Our beloved, Sean Michael Velie,47, of Studio City, California, passed away on August 23, 2024 after a tragic accident resulting in severe brain injury. Preceded in death by his dad, Butch and his brother, Troy. He is loved and missed by his wife, Hannah, his mom, Sandy, and his brother, Ryan along with countless family and friends. Sean was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 1, 1976. He attended Thomas Worthington High School where he played varsity tennis for four years, played percussion in the symphonic band, and was involved in theater where he was first bitten by the acting bug. After graduating in 1995, he went on to Wright State University where he earned his BA. and continued a very successful tennis career. Sean had such a soft spot for animals rescuing a myriad over his lifetime. All insects and spiders were safe with Sean around. He was full of life as he enjoyed hiking, swimming, tennis, fantasy sports, UFC, and especially, Ohio State Football. Sean was an avid runner and fitness nut. His favorite time of the year was Christmas when he would return to Worthington in hopes of snow. Sean was employed by the Getty Museum working in security but his true passion was his acting career where he was involved in several independent films, in Columbus and L.A, as well as working in many Hollywood motion pictures. Sean was an organ donor who was able to give life to at least three people. Sean was a beacon of love and kindness; a protector of all he cherished. Sean, a loss that changed the world.
