Our beloved Melonie Ann Tyler, 82 of Westerville, Ohio passed away September 14, 2024 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio leaving a void her family cannot fill. She was born January 10, 1942, to the late Walter Wehr and Daisy Wehr in Bellevue, Ohio. She married her childhood sweetheart and soul mate Langdon Kent Tyler on December 14, 1963 in Worthington Ohio. They shared a lifelong love and celebrated 60 years of marriage. They enjoyed travelling and spending much of their time with their children and grandchildren. Melonie is survived by her husband Langdon Kent Tyler and was a wonderful, devoted mother to Nicole Griffin, Colin Tyler and Kyle (Michele) Tyler. Her children always felt the love and support she provided. Her grandchildren Kayla Tyler, Madison (Joshua) Perry, Dominic Tyler and Mason Griffin meant everything to her. Melonie also became a great grandmother this year to James Perry who was her pride and joy. Melonie was also survived by her beloved brother Lynn (Criss)Wehr. They had a wonderful bond and spent their summers together with their children and grandchildren at their cottages on Pelee Island. Melonie graduated from Worthington High School in 1960 and was a member of the National Honour Society. She attended the Ohio State University and was a member of Kappa Alpha Beta. Melonie was employed with Worthington Schools for 27 years well respected as the Director of Food Services.
