Katherine Ann Steele-Ausdenmoore, 51, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on September 15, 2024. Born on March 11, 1973, in Columbus, Ohio, Katherine was known for her vibrant spirit and dedication as a mother, social worker, and elementary school teacher. Katherine, affectionately known as Katie, graduated from Worthington High School. She pursued higher education at the University of Cincinnati and Mount St. Joseph University, where she earned her Master's Degree in Education. Katie dedicated her career to nurturing young minds and supporting her community as a social worker. Katie's life was filled with joy from her hobbies, which included gardening, reading, and painting. She had a profound love for her animals, Rosie, Stormy, Daisy, Gus, and Miss Thing, who brought her immense happiness and companionship. Katie is survived by her loving family: her son, Timothy Ausdenmoore; daughter, Sofia Ausdenmoore; husband, Tim Ausdenmoore; mother, Ann Cesner (Robert); father, Jeff Steele (Sharon); brothers, Tim Steele (Tricia), Peter Steele, McKenzie Steele (Heather); sister, Mary Cesner; and several cherished nephews and nieces, Luke Steele (Taylor), Jayden Price, Lauren Price, Sadie Steele, Addison Vasko-Bennett, Rylee Steele, Isabella, Maria, and Marshall Steele. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John & Cecilia O'Brien, and paternal grandparents, Robert & Marilyn Steele.
